Our first visit to Stix was a very pleasant surprise. Greeted and seated immediately by a very friendly hostess. We were introduced to a pair of servers who would be taking care of us for the evening.

We are typically early diners and the restaurant was not yet busy, so we time to interact with our servers. I ordered the Sushi Appetizer while we perused the menu.

Brynne and Kristin were very knowledgeable about the varied menu. And we were ready to order. My partner ordered the Tempura Shrimp.

Tempura Shrimp

I had opted for the Red Snapper.

The Tempura Shrimp were served with fluffy white rice and a delicious dipping sauce reminicent of that served with steamed dumplings at a chinese restaurant.

The Red Snapper was slightly over done to my taste but nonetheless delicious, served with a medley of fresh veggies and very interesting take on potatoes.

We were fully satisfied but couldn’t leave without sampling one of their two desserts. We decided to share a slice of NY Cheesecake.

Adjacent to the dining area is a very popular lounge and several adventureous patrons were entertaining us with Karaoke. All in all we had a delicious meal and entertainment we will definitely return.
