Mangia Trattoria
One of Naples culinary best kept secrets. In an unassuming strip mall in East Naples’ Berkshire neighborhood you will find this fabulous little Italian eatery. It took us several tries to get a reservation here. But perseverance paid off. We were delighted to be seated in the small but well appointed dining room rather than the al fresca choice next to the parking lot. Our server provided simple but excellent bread and beverages while we perused the eclectic menu. Our server was well versed in the many special offerings of the evening. My companion chose the Shrimp Scampi over house made pasta, I opted for the Pappardelle Bolognese. Each offering came with a generous house salad with house made Italian dressing. The entrees were delicious and generous. We shared an amazing exquisite chocolate ice cream encased in Chocolate ganache with fresh fruit. We will definitely return.
