Cote D’azur Restaurant
The strip shopping center where Cote D’azur is located may fool you but don’t let the location of this fine restaurant deter you. The only seating available for us on short notice was one of the four outdoor tables. Because of the unique setting and ambiance created here, we were not aware that we were a few steps from a very busy parking lot. Amazing what plantings and Roman shades can accomplish. Our waiter was very informative and quietly efficient. The bread served at the beginning of the meal was warm and crusty with a dense interior served with EVOO and aged balsamic vinegar, to die for! Our party of three selected three different entrees from the ever changing menu. I had “Jumbo Day Boat New Bedford Scallops”, served with “roasted red beet coulis, artichokes two ways, prawn shells reduction”. My wife had “MILK FED VEAL TENDERLOIN, porcini & trumpet royale mushrooms duxelle, spoon purple potato mash, caramelized quince, morels & truffles duck glaze”. And our guest had “CRISPY DUCK, glazed bosc pear, cranberries and apples chutney, buttersquash puree, black currants and cherries orange zest, green peppercorns port wine sauce”. All entrees were served elegantly and with flare. And all three were delicious. No room for dessert. We’ll be back.
